📢CyberInflight’s October Cyberdefense Monthly Watch is live!

October has been a busy month across the defense ecosystem: we saw heightened strategic competition, strengthened Russia–China cooperation, and the U.S. placing cyber and electronic warfare firmly at the top of its agenda.
On the industry side, momentum accelerated around quantum security, next-gen EW systems, and secure military space infrastructure.
Threat actors also continued to push boundaries with more cross-domain deception and a growing cyber–EW convergence.

🔎 This edition provides a concise snapshot of the key shifts that shaped October, and we are already finalizing the November Watch, which is looking particularly rich. 🚀 Coming back from the Security for Space Systems (3S) Conference, from the 4 to 6 November 2025 🛰️ organised by ESA at ESTEC in Noordwijk.

One of the standout moments was the Capture The Flag (CTF) competition, brilliantly organised by the European Space Agency – ESA with the support of the D-Orbit team, who provided access to 3 actual orbiting platforms, Leaf Space, for the provision of the ground network, and the expertise of the famous mackeroni team, who designed a set of 25 cybersecurity challenges 🕵️‍♂️
Among the challenges run in orbit, the teams tackled: binary exploitation, reverse engineering, cryptography, web vulnerabilities, radio communication, and space-math tasks 🌌🚀

Kudos to the 🏆 Superflat team 🏆 and the CTF organizers!

🚀CyberInflight is attending the 2025 Software Defined Space Conference (SDSC) in Tallinn, Estonia!

🛰️💡 Dear network 🚀⚔️
🌌 Exciting times at the Software Defined Space Conference, SDSC, Tallinn, Estonia!

🇪🇪 Estonia stands out as a vibrant hub for space technology and entrepreneurship. The energy, ambition, and collaboration here truly highlight the vitality of the Estonian community!

💸With its minimal corporate tax (0% corporate tax on reinvested profits 😱) and digital-first environment, Estonia continues to empower entrepreneurs to grow and innovate, especially in the space industry.

Kudos to the SDSC team for an outstanding conference!
